Muslims talk about people 'reverting' to the Islamic faith, not 'converting'. They believe that their faith is something all people are born into, but they are not necessarily brought up in that faith. Accordingly, when a non-Muslim finds Islam, they are returning to what they inherently know.

When we return home from long distant travels, we return to what we know.
